BMS Programmer Engineer - Remote

Overview

The BMS Programmer Engineer is an advanced level position with technical and project responsibilities, focusing on maintaining the performance of the BMS group within a regional office.

In Short

• Assist in maintaining technical performance of the BMS group.
• Perform complex BMS setup and response tasks.
• Supervise and manage BMS systems and personnel.
• Develop budgets and schedules for BMS projects.
• Lead complex projects with subcontracted partners.
• Ensure quality of BMS service work and document control.
• Coordinate with other service lines on project schedules.
• Monitor backlog and control staff assignments.
• Utilize personal computer applications for project management.
• Travel between buildings and work in varying weather conditions.

Requirements

• Associate degree in HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Five or more years of experience with BMS systems.
• Capability to coordinate project schedules.
• Ability to estimate budgets and schedule requirements.
• Supervisory experience with BMS personnel.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Organizational and planning skills.
• Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems and CMMS.
• Proficient in basic PC applications.
• Physical ability to travel and operate office machinery.
