Overview

The Assistant Cost Manager will join a dynamic team in London, focusing on delivering high-quality services in cost management for various client groups.

In Short

  • Support and undertake feasibility cost estimates and detailed cost plans.
  • Understand and communicate risk associated with design proposals.
  • Deliver post contract duties including payment, cost reporting, and contract administration.
  • Work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Experience in project procurement and identifying value management opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products effectively.
  • Participate in bids and engage with various business areas.
  • Support a dynamic and engaged team environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of services and solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical background in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
  • MRICS preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
  • Strong verbal, numerical, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Experience in delivering projects for occupier and investor clients.
  • Good knowledge of cost management practices.
  • Willingness to engage with specialist consultancy colleagues.
