Overview

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking to hire a Lead Community Planner to help expand our planning services in Central/Eastern Washington and North Idaho and work in our successful Spokane, Washington office.

In Short

Collaborate with project managers, planners, and engineers.
Research and prepare comprehensive plans and amendments.
Conduct research to support planning and development projects.
Review land development proposals for consistency with relevant plans.
Facilitate meetings with technical and citizen advisory committees.
Present to public planning committees and local decision-makers.
Evaluate future land use designations using various maps.
Prepare proposals for planning projects and evaluate contracts.
Assist with application preparation and client coordination.
Lead business development efforts for planning services.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a Lead Planner, AICP required.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in planning or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the Washington State Growth Management Act preferred.
