Civil/Structural Forensic Engineer - Remote

Overview

Our Forensic Architecture & Engineering team is seeking a mid to senior-level Forensic Civil Structural Engineer (PE or SE) to enhance our already robust team of professionals supporting our clients throughout the US.

In Short

• Conduct field observations and data collection.
• Prepare detailed reports on investigations and testing results.
• Work with building departments for repair directives.
• Engage in client-relations marketing.
• Conduct research for technical publications.
• Present findings to peers and clients.
• Regular local and regional travel required.
• Active involvement in professional associations encouraged.
• Requires a PE or SE license.
• 2-7+ years of forensic engineering experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• PE or SE license in NC (or ability to obtain one soon).
• 2-7+ years of experience as a forensic engineer.
• Familiarity with modern building codes and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for site inspections.
• Valid Driver's License.
