Azure Cloud Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Operations Engineer to join our development team and take ownership of the infrastructure, performance, security, and compliance of our cloud-based applications hosted in both Azure Commercial and Azure Government environments.

In Short

• Monitor and manage Azure cloud environments and services.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost.
• Implement and enforce security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with current standards (e.g., SOC2).
• Support CI/CD processes in Azure DevOps.
• Execute application deployments as part of the release process.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure.
• Provide after-hours support for critical deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3–5+ years of Azure experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with core Azure services.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security and compliance practices.
• Experience with .NET-based applications in Azure environments.
• Proficiency with scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with Redis, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
• Experience supporting both single-tenant and multi-tenant architectures.
