Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

IRIUM is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide international infrastructure services, including support and maintenance of technological towers.

In Short

• Manage and report the status/progress through multiple parallel topics.
• Write HLDs and LLD for features to deliver.
• Participate in design brainstorming sessions.
• Build artifacts.
• Develop value propositions for changes/new requirements.
• Identify innovation opportunities.
• Participate in Agile events - roadmap, scrum, stand-ups, etc.
• Communicate with the Product Owner/Delivery Lead to align viewpoints and status.
• Track updates in JIRA.

Requirements

• Capable of leading and managing meetings in English.
• 5+ years of Infrastructure/technical delivery experience.
• Deep experience with Redhat Linux products, preferably recent versions (7, 8, 9).
• Knowledge of Redhat Satellite is a plus.
• Experience in high availability Linux solutions.
• Experience in managing complex L3 issues.
• Experience in migrations from old to new versions.
• Bonus: Experience in Redhat version migrations.
• Ability to translate backlog output into technical features.
• Experience working in highly regulated security-focused environments.
• Good technical and communication skills, able to work under pressure.
• Conduct technological surveillance.
• Scripting capability (Shell).
• Minimum B2 English proficiency.
