Overview

The Client Accountant - Funds role involves managing client relationships and ensuring accurate financial reporting for private equity and real estate clients.

In Short

• Manage day-to-day responsibilities for designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Ensure financial statements meet reporting requirements (UK GAAP or IFRS).
• Review investor drawdown and distribution calculations for accuracy.
• Communicate cash movements between the Fund and its Investors.
• Oversee preparation and completion of Client deliverables.
• Conduct regular Client calls for effective communication.
• Mentor and support other staff on designated clients and funds.
• Understand accounting frameworks for each designated client.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes for efficiency and risk reduction.

Requirements

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in client relationship management.
• Experience reviewing working paper files and financial statements.
• Strong accounting background through previous experience.
• Experience in mentoring less experienced team members.
