Medical Director (Part Time Remote)

Overview

The Medical Director is responsible for medical oversight, direction, and leadership of the medical staff regarding all areas of healthcare for the project, ensuring adequate medical services and response capabilities are available at all OCONUS locations.

• Support aeromedical evacuation planning and execution.

• Maintain controlled substances and medical equipment.
• Provide emergency medical consultations.
• Collaborate with local medical professionals and RMOs.
• Adhere to AAR Quality Assurance Program.

Requirements

• Full unrestricted U.S. Medical Licensure required.
• Ten years of clinical experience in aviation medicine and aeromedical evacuations.
• Experience as a Military Flight Surgeon.
• Demonstrated executive-level interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of advanced trauma care and cardiology.
• Understanding of sanitary requirements in remote locations.
• Graduate from an approved medical school (M.D. or D.O.).
• Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
• Valid US Passport with at least 6 months before expiration.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required prior to contract performance.
