Impact Portfolio Analyst Intern - Remote

Overview

As an Impact Portfolio Analyst Intern, you’ll support the evaluation and selection of nature-positive startups applying for the prestigious I4N Award, using data tools and evaluation frameworks to assess applicants’ environmental impact and business viability.

• Support the evaluation of applications for the Innovate 4 Nature Award
• Operate and quality-check results from I4N’s in-house language model assessment tool
• Assess applicants’ business models and nature-positive impact potential
• Conduct research and gather additional insights on selected projects
• Collaborate with the evaluation team to discuss and compare assessments
• Provide written feedback to applicants to support their growth
• Gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of global nature-positive startups

Requirements

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s (from 4th semester) or Master’s programme in Business, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or Project Management
• At least 1 year of experience in sustainability, business, or finance
• Proficient in Excel, data analysis, and project tools
• Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Proactive, organized, and able to work well both independently and in teams
• Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, and biodiversity is highly desirable
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus
• Swiss work permit is required for on-site/hybrid work in Zurich
