NOC Network Administrator - Remote

Overview

Integres is seeking a NOC Network Administrator to support our customers by performing a variety of network management functions related to the operation, performance, or availability of data communications networks.

In Short

• Monitor all devices, platforms, and services within a network environment.
• Ensure efficient resolution of service requests and incidents.
• Provide timely communication on service impacting incidents.
• Assist with service-related projects as required.
• Analyze client LANs/WANs and recommend reconfiguration.
• Troubleshoot network/user problems and present resolutions.
• Prepare network resource reports.
• Participate in load balancing efforts for optimum device utilization.
• Modify command language programs and network startup files.
• Work with SNMP- and RMON-based software products.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Active Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA).
• At least two years of experience in a computer-related field.
• Experience with data communications engineering and network administration.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, FDDI, and high-speed WANs.
• Experience with IT Network Management and Monitoring systems.
• Understanding of DNS and CLI.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently.
