Security Associate - Remote

Overview

Intapp is looking for an L1 Security Associate to join our Information security team. The Security Associate plays a vital role in keeping an organization’s proprietary and sensitive information secure.

In Short

• Respond to alerts and carry out triage operations within SLA.
• Use cyber defense tools to monitor and analyze systems for malicious activity.
• Analyze identified malicious activity to determine weaknesses and exploitation methods.
• Perform event correlation for situational awareness.
• Stay current on IT security trends.
• Understanding of the CIA triad and its importance.
• Knowledge of ports and protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of end point detection and response tools.
• Can read and understand basic CMD, PowerShell, and Unix.

Requirements

• Prior Service Desk or SOC analyst experience is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of KQL.
• Security + certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Azure is beneficial.
• Microsoft SC-XXX certifications are a plus.
