Overview

INTECON, LLC is hiring a Project Manager to support the Department of the Air Force, specifically the AFWERX Capital Initiatives Division (RGI). This role is responsible for guiding strategy, execution, and operational support that helps small businesses develop and transition dual-use technology solutions.

Requirements

• Lead integrator for planning and oversight of SBIR/STTR strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal legislation and acquisition regulations.
• Interpret and translate complex policies into executable processes.
• Identify and assess emerging small business technologies.
• Develop structured pathways for technology maturation.
• Coordinate with senior Air Force stakeholders regularly.
• Enhance communication across government and industry stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison with external partners and industry associations.
• Support marketing and outreach initiatives for the SBIR/STTR program.
• Define training requirements and improve workforce readiness.
