Overview

We're seeking a Project Manager to lead fiber characterization projects in the telecommunications sector, responsible for managing end-to-end project execution on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

In Short

Oversee fiber characterization projects, ensuring accurate execution and data collection.
Interpret test results and coordinate with splice crews to correct identified issues.
Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, issue resolution, reporting, and close-out.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and client-side transport engineering groups.
Ensure all test data and field documentation are accurately recorded and submitted on time.
Track equipment usage and ensure proper handling and return of test gear.
Lead status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
Collaborate with permitting and engineering teams for related activities.
Support the sourcing and onboarding of subcontractors for specialized tasks.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and safety practices.

Requirements

Strong understanding of aerial make-ready engineering and civil construction processes.
Proven experience managing telecommunications engineering and construction projects.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
Availability to travel as needed for project oversight.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
