Construction Project Manager - West Coast - Remote

Overview

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join their Development team, focusing on managing the turnover process for new and remodeled stores. This is a remote position for candidates located on the West Coast.

In Short

• Manage turnover process of new and remodeled stores.
• Review Contract Documents for accuracy.
• Manage the bid process for general contractors.
• Supervise general contractors and vendors.
• Support permit approval and construction documentation.
• Manage interaction with landlords.
• Work with store coordinators on equipment requisition.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years in retail, restaurant, or hotel construction management.
• Knowledge of construction administration processes.
• Experience in commercial construction as an Owner's representative.
• B.S./B.A. in Architecture/Construction Management preferred.
• Professional registrations (e.g., CPM, PMP) are a plus.
• Ability to motivate design professionals and consultants.
• Effective communication skills in a corporate environment.
• Ability to minimize costs and maintain schedules.
