Teacher for Educational NGO: School Communication & Development of Teaching Materials - Remote

Overview

We organize the project day that every student wished for: With the Future Day, we provide young people with basic knowledge in the areas of taxes, health insurance, finances, and their first own apartment. This year, we will reach more than 70,000 students at 800 schools in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

We are looking for an experienced teacher who is eager to reorient their career and support us in preparing young people practically for the start of adult life.

In Short

• Be the contact person for schools: Answer all questions about the Future Day, schedule appointments for project days, and assist teachers during preparation.
• Support in acquiring new schools.
• Compile all necessary information for schools.
• Bring your own ideas for the development of your area.
• Develop teaching materials to help teachers deepen the content of the Future Day in class.
• Assist in the development of workshops and adapt content for new target groups (e.g., secondary schools).
• Ensure quality through regular participation in our project days.
• Develop training materials and prepare our speakers for their assignments.

Requirements

• Completed teaching degree (any subject combination) or similar qualification.
• Ideally, professional experience as a teacher.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Enjoy working with people.
• Quick comprehension, high initiative, and a structured, results-oriented working style.
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
• Creativity and resourcefulness.
