Overview

GEOS is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to contribute to large-scale projects in France and internationally, overseeing technical aspects while managing costs and deadlines.

In Short

  • Lead geotechnical studies at various project phases.
  • Supervise engineering teams and ensure technical compliance.
  • Perform geotechnical calculations using specialized software.
  • Estimate project costs and develop schedules.
  • Engage in fieldwork for expertise and project monitoring.
  • Manage client and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure contract management and quality control.
  • Respond to tenders and proposals.
  • Represent the company at technical events.
  • Support business development efforts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Geotechnics, Applied Geology, or Civil Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of experience in geotechnical design and execution.
  • Strong team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in geotechnical methods and Eurocodes.
  • Experience with software like Talren, Foxta, K-Rea, Plaxis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects.
  • Fluent in French and English is a plus.
