Fire Protection Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

GLI is an engineering company specializing in building services, seeking a Fire Protection Project Engineer to manage projects from feasibility to installation reception.

In Short

• Manage fire protection projects from feasibility to installation.
• Maintain regular communication with the Project Manager.
• Prepare necessary technical documents for various project phases.
• Supervise project draftsmen.
• Coordinate with other technical teams.
• Participate in tender launches and technical-financial analyses.
• Approve project documents.
• Manage document distribution among stakeholders.
• Attend periodic progress meetings.
• Verify contractor work and manage project evolution.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (BAC+5) in fire risks, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in project management in fire protection.
• Proficient in technical documentation and cost estimation.
• Knowledge of APSAD standards and NFPA regulations.
• Familiarity with fire protection systems (sprinklers, gas systems, etc.).
• Experience with various building types: tertiary, industrial, pharmaceutical, and energy sectors.
• Regulatory knowledge of ERP/IGH/ITGH is a plus.
