In Short

• Lead meetings with drug discovery teams at our partners to help them leverage our platform and to act as a thought partner for their programs.
• Join business development calls with potential partners to act as a scientific leader and domain expert.
• Be a first point of contact for our partners’ technical and product questions.
• Collaborate with our partners to write publications for journals and conferences.
• Represent the voice of our drug discovery partners internally by providing feedback on the product and strategy.
• Apply your expertise toward strategic leadership of Inductive’s scientific, technical, and business roadmap.
• Work with the Inductive team to establish the broader Application Science function at Inductive and think through how it will grow over time.

Requirements

• You have a Ph.D. in chemistry or closely-related discipline and at least 15 years of drug discovery experience in industry.
• You are an expert in one or more subfields of Computational Chemistry or Cheminformatics (e.g. structural modeling, molecular dynamics, free-energy perturbation, machine learning).
• You have experience leading and working across teams.
• You are an outstanding verbal and written communicator and are comfortable leading external meetings and speaking at conferences.
• You care deeply about accelerating humanity’s ability to bring innovative drugs to patients.
• You are excited to chart the course of a fast-growing startup while collaborating deeply with a cross-disciplinary team of medicinal chemists, machine learning engineers, software engineers, and business professionals.
• You are entrepreneurial and thrive in ambiguous environments.
