Overview

The Sr Operations Engineer provides technical solutions to exceptionally difficult problems, addressing day-to-day customer and application issues that require detailed analysis and research.

In Short

Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues.
Analyze requirements and prioritize requests.
Communicate with users to clarify requirements.
Create programs and processes to satisfy requests.
Participate in database design reviews.
Install, monitor, and maintain production server hardware and software.
Create and report metrics for capacity planning.
Monitor application health and performance.
Use alarm monitoring tools for issue resolution.
Perform User Acceptance Tests in the production environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or telecommunication.
5+ years of experience in application support and technical customer support.
Certification on operating systems and databases (Preferred).
Exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
