Senior Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr Operations Engineer provides technical solutions to exceptionally difficult problems, addressing day-to-day customer and application issues that are complex in nature.

In Short

• Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues.
• Analyze requirements and prioritize requests.
• Communicate with users to clarify requirements.
• Create programs/processes to satisfy requests.
• Participate in database design changes.
• Install, monitor, maintain, and optimize production server hardware/software.
• Create, track, and report metrics for capacity planning.
• Monitor production servers and application health.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing in the production environment.
• Manage production performance and error research.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or telecommunication.
• 5+ years of professional experience in application support and technical customer support.
• Certification on operating systems and databases (preferred).
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
