Overview

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for greeting customers, processing payments, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

In Short

• Greet customers on entrance
• Receive and process payments by cash, credit card or automatic debit
• Wrap or place merchandise in bags and wrap food to go
• Provide information to customers if needed
• Calculate total payments received at end of work shift and reconcile with total sales
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets and tobacco products
• Stock shelves and clean check-out counter area

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service
• High school graduation certificate
