Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position represents a strategic opportunity to design, build, and scale data infrastructures that directly impact the operation and decision-making of the organization.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, internal and external systems).
• Optimize data storage and processing for high performance and scalability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Automate data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to provide datasets ready for analysis.
• Manage and monitor data environments in the cloud or on-premises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in languages such as Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
• Experience with data processing tools and platforms (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, etc.).
• Experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Skills in data architecture design and query optimization.
• Understanding of data integration and transformation methodologies (ETL/ELT).
• Experience in Data Warehousing and Data Lakes.
