Overview

The Young Evaluator will work with UNFPA to evaluate Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) programs in the Arab region, focusing on assessing their effectiveness, coherence, and sustainability.

In Short

  • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of CSE programs in the Arab region.
  • Work remotely under the supervision of the Youth Advisor.
  • Support the development of evaluation plans and methodologies.
  • Conduct literature reviews and data collection.
  • Facilitate virtual meetings and focus group discussions.
  • Draft reports and policy briefs based on evaluation findings.
  • Engage with stakeholders at regional and country levels.
  • Ensure ethical considerations are adhered to throughout the evaluation process.
  • Collaborate with the lead consultant on CSE strategies for the future.
  • Contribute to improving CSE access and impact for youth.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in medical sciences, public health, education, or social sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in conducting evaluations of projects or programs.
  • Knowledge of UNFPA and sexual and reproductive health issues.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Experience with CSE is an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
