Communications and Design Intern, Sustainable Energy - Remote

Overview

The intern will work closely with the Sustainable Energy Hub to support UNDP’s vision of providing access to sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy, while also advancing outreach efforts through communications and design skills.

In Short

• Develop high-quality multimedia content for social media and campaigns.
• Manage SEH’s social media presence and engagement.
• Support website updates and digital asset organization.
• Create visual materials for publications and reports.
• Assist in drafting communication strategies and outreach materials.
• Produce and edit video content for storytelling.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to enhance SEH’s impact.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and reporting abilities.
• Contribute to internal and external communication efforts.
• Support the development of SEH’s visual identity.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a postgraduate or final year undergraduate program in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Experience in multimedia content creation and graphic design.
• Hands-on experience in social media management and analytics.
• Knowledge of website design and content management systems.
• Understanding of sustainable development and energy access communications is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
