UX/UI Designer - Remote

Overview

At Hugging Face, we’re on a journey to democratize good AI. We are building the fastest growing platform for AI builders with over 5 million users & 100k organizations who collectively shared over 1M models, 300k datasets & 300k apps. Our open-source libraries have more than 400k+ stars on Github.

The UX/UI Designer will design and create graphics to meet specific commercial and promotional needs. The position will work with our Product team and takes ownership of the user experience/user interface design products, ensuring their success in the market.

In Short

• Imagine and build the next features for the Hugging Face Hub (hf.co) and other products.
• Contribute to products in the “Developer tools” and machine learning space.
• Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logs, and websites.
• Lead the designs of visually compelling marketing landing pages.
• Lead the graphic designs of Hugging Face social marketing courses and events.
• Lead the UI/UX design of features on the Hugging Face Hub.
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on layout principles.
• Collaborate with Hugging Face’s head of design on various projects.
• Design the UI/UX of image classification and payment flow.
• Lead the UI/UX of Hugging Face merchandise store website.

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Design, or related field.
• Standard UX software such as Figma or Sketch.
• Using UX design best practices to design solutions.
• Mobile-first and responsive design.
• Iterating designs and solutions efficiently.
• Working with team members to understand detailed requirements.
• Synthesizing company-level goals to create remarkable design experiences.
