Overview

As an Anaplan Model Builder within the FP&A team, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing optimization of our FP&A model that facilitates financial planning and analysis processes. This position involves developing an understanding of Anaplan platform capabilities alongside enhancing your FP&A domain expertise. You will collaborate with team members to design and develop models that meet the evolving needs of the organization.

In Short

  • Design and build new Anaplan models aimed at improving process efficiencies in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Provide technical support to FP&A users, troubleshooting and resolving Anaplan-related issues while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Support users in utilizing Fluence for reporting and data inputs, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Configure and optimize Anaplan platform settings, including dimensions and hierarchies, to maximize model performance.
  • Implement user roles and permissions to maintain data integrity and security within the Anaplan environment.
  • Collaborate with FP&A stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that address those needs effectively.
  • Stay informed about new Anaplan features and updates, and integrate these advancements into the modeling approaches where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, or related fields, with strong exposure to Anaplan model development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Anaplan platform features and functionalities.
  • Strong motivation to learn and apply new software tools, with keen attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Basic programming understanding or familiarity with statistical tools (R, Python) is a plus.
  • Experience with Fluence is a plus.
