Regional Hotel Maintenance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Regional Hotel Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance, facilities, and life-safety operations across a portfolio of hotels within an assigned region. This role ensures all properties are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and operating efficiently while supporting property-level maintenance teams and hotel leadership.

• Oversee maintenance operations for multiple hotels within a 41-property portfolio
• Provide support, guidance, and training to property-level Maintenance Engineers and Directors of Maintenance
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are executed across all properties
• Support capital improvement projects and coordinate with vendors
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations
• Assist with maintenance budgets and monitor utility usage
• Provide regular reports on property conditions and maintenance performance
• Frequent travel to assigned hotels for site visits and inspections
• 5+ years of hotel or multi-property maintenance experience required
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are essential

Requirements

• 5+ years of hotel or multi-property maintenance experience
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Experience supporting multiple locations or large facilities portfolios
• Ability to travel frequently (including overnight stays)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Prior regional or multi-property leadership experience preferred
• Experience with branded hotels is a plus
• HVAC, EPA Universal, CPO, or other relevant certifications preferred
• Experience managing capital projects and renovations preferred
