Overview

This part-time internship offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA, focusing on policy strategies for youth mental health and well-being.

In Short

Part-time internship (20-30 hours/week)
Flexible hours to accommodate school schedules
Support the policy agenda related to youth mental health
Track and analyze youth mental health legislation
Provide research assistance for policy concepts
Create information briefs on relevant policy topics
Support educational briefings on YMH policy topics
Work with the Policy Director on content development
Commitment through mid-December 2025
Begin in late-July 2025

Requirements

Completed coursework in public policy or health policy
Familiarity with legislative processes
Experience translating policy into public products preferred
Basic familiarity with the U.S. health system
Strong research and writing skills
Effective communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and independently
Experience with policymakers on health policy issues preferred
