Backend Developer (Ruby on Rails) - Remote

Overview

We at Holycode are currently looking for a Backend Developer (RoR) with strong skills and proven experience who is ready to dive into a young and vibrant Swiss company, for a full-time engagement, here in our Belgrade office.

In Short

• Develop and maintain a scalable, world-class Ruby on Rails platform, the core of our system at MOVU
• Work together with an excellent team of Product Owners, Backend, Frontend and QA engineers on shipping high-quality code in record time
• Contribute to the overall architecture of the system
• Have the opportunity to use and extend custom ruby gems we’ve built, and build new ones yourself

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in building scalable web applications (preferably Ruby on Rails)
• Deep understanding of modern MVC frameworks
• Deep understanding of Ruby language (or similar BE technology)
• Deep understanding of JSON and XML data structures
• Strong sense of ownership and drive
• You are eager to learn and solve problems
• Experience working with version control systems (Git)
