In Short

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications, implementing new features and optimizing existing codebases.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Participate in DevOps tasks, including deployment of application releases and maintenance of microservices in Kubernetes.
• Integrate interfaces with external cash register and inventory systems for optimized data exchange.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Solid experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Knowledge of AWS environment development is a plus.
• Independent, analytical, structured, and careful working style.
• Strong service and customer orientation.
• Team player with resilience.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
