In Short

• Development and maintenance of applications using Ruby on Rails, including the implementation of new features and optimization of existing codebases.
• Management and optimization of PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, performance monitoring, and tuning.
• Involvement in DevOps tasks, including deployment of application releases and development of microservices in Kubernetes.
• Development and integration of interfaces to external cash register and inventory systems for optimized data exchange and system communication.

Requirements

• Completed computer science degree or comparable training.
• Solid experience in development with Ruby on Rails.
• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge in Test Driven Development.
• Knowledge of development in the AWS environment (e.g., RDS) is an advantage.
• Independent, analytical, structured, and meticulous working style.
• Strong service and customer orientation.
• Team spirit and resilience.
• Very good knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and English (at least B2 level) in spoken and written form.
