Senior Full-Stack Engineer - Remote

Overview

Our client is an API for EDI platform connecting the world's supply chain. Any company that buys or sells products trades electronic data interchange (EDI) data in an effort to streamline communication. These companies exchange transactions like purchase orders, invoices, shipment notices and more. They are turning a legacy industry on its head, making EDI data trading effortless. Their API leverages modern technology that dramatically improves infrastructure for their customers. Enterprises connect once to their API and trade EDI transactions with their supply chain partners leveraging their growing network of thousands of companies.

In Short

• Lead design and implementation of major front-end or back-end initiatives.
• Take ownership of individual project priorities, deadlines, and work.
• Lead best practices across the team through example, mentorship, and discussion.
• Expert level in NodeJS, React, API & microservice development.
• Experienced in messaging/eventing systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Knowledge of distributed system design.
• Familiarity with software quality best practices.
• Nice-to-haves include EDI experience and familiarity with AWS.

Requirements

• Expert level in NodeJS, React, API & microservice development.
• Experience with Javascript and Typescript.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with messaging/eventing systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Understanding of distributed system design.
• Familiarity with software quality best practices.
• B.Sc. or above in Computer Science or a related discipline is a plus.
• EDI experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with NestJS, Nx, AWS is a plus.
