As an Intake Attorney, you’ll evaluate new personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, provide clear initial guidance, and ensure qualified clients move smoothly from first conversation into case management.

In Short

• Lead initial consultations that build trust and clarity for prospective clients from the first call
• Assess personal injury and workers’ compensation claims for legal merit, risk, and fit against firm criteria
• Review intake notes, incident details, medical records, and supporting documents to determine case viability
• Provide practical, plain-language guidance on rights, expectations, timelines, and next steps
• Recommend initial case strategy and identify the most appropriate legal pathway early
• Partner with intake staff to ensure complete, accurate case information and a seamless client handoff
• Make timely accept/decline decisions and clearly document rationale in the case management system
• Drive follow-up that supports client retention and smooth onboarding without sacrificing quality
• Support the intake team in addressing common concerns and objections during the decision process
• Share insights on intake trends and process gaps to continuously improve quality and conversion

Requirements

• Strong legal judgment and analytical skills
• Experience in personal injury and workers’ compensation law
