Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Remote

Overview

Highrise Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to work remotely full-time, supporting a client at NIH (National Institutes of Health).

In Short

• Design, develop, and manage AWS services for scalable infrastructure operations.
• Serve as the Subject-Matter Expert (SME) in automation.
• Maintain ongoing stability and operations of custom-built enterprise systems.
• Research and prototype new FedRAMP approved products.
• Develop and maintain architecture processes and documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud environment design and deployment.
• Strong background in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting.
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Proven experience in preparing technical documentation.
• Experience managing AWS Infrastructure using cloud-native tools.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in parallel.
