In Short

  • The Field Billing Manager will be the face of Heartflow in supporting our customer’s administration and billing professionals.
  • Collaborate with Heartflow’s Marketing team to create educational material.
  • Educate and support the Sales team on coding and billing concerns.
  • Work directly with customers for compliant coding of FFRct.
  • Provide support on prior authorization workflow and claims appeals.
  • Conduct conference calls or travel onsite to educate on billing scenarios.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Heartflow policies and requirements.
  • Keep abreast of customer and market access industry trends.
  • Provide coverage, coding, and reimbursement information to key staff members.
  • Collaborate with the field-facing team to share insights into customer needs.

Requirements

  • Outstanding knowledge of coding and billing in the US healthcare system.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer support attitude.
  • Strong understanding of hospital billing and coding infrastructure.
  • Ability to interpret policies and medical necessity language.
  • Greater than 5 years of demonstrated work experience in coding and billing.
  • Demonstrated medical service coding and reimbursement experience.
  • Associates Degree in a related field of study required.
  • CPC or COC preferred, cardiology experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
