Junior Finance & Accounting Associate - Remote

Overview

The Finance & Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our Cannabis clients. You will do accounting tasks to support the preparation of financial reports and contribute to the finance and accounting processes. You must have excellent time management skills to balance multiple projects.

In Short

• Assist in preparing journal entries and posting them to the general ledger.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Process invoices and ensure accurate coding for expenses.
• Prepare and maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Assist with vendor and client invoicing and payment processing.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data and generate reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Provide support to senior finance staff as needed.
