Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced accountant for an internationally operating medium-sized company based in the Dormagen area. The company is active in the manufacturing sector, collaborates with renowned clients from the chemical and industrial sectors, and is currently in an exciting investment phase.

In Short

• Booking incoming and outgoing invoices as well as delivery notes
• Verification and creation of credit notes, collective invoices, and customer billing
• Close collaboration with the tax office (DATEV)
• Maintenance and control of extensive Excel spreadsheets
• Support in the transition from the existing inventory management system to a new ERP system
• Ensuring transparent processes and addressing pending issues
• Collaboration with departments and support during audits

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in financial accounting
• Proficient use of ERP systems; ideally experience in ERP migration or transition processes
• Very good knowledge in invoice processing, especially in the credit note procedure
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Good comprehension, structured working style, and ability to quickly recognize relationships
• English language skills are an advantage (support through English courses possible)
