Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (Remote)

Overview

As a Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (Virtual), your primary responsibility will be to provide quality mental health care to students within our partner school districts.

In Short

• Provide virtual high-quality, evidence-based mental health counseling to K-12 students.
• Diagnose and conduct initial mental health intake assessments.
• Create individual treatment plans according to student needs.
• Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress.
• Collaborate with the care management team.
• Obtain credentialing and additional clinical state licenses.
• Participate in trainings and meetings.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide consultative telehealth crisis support as assigned.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted license to practice independently.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting.
• Ability to obtain a Fingerprint (FBI) Criminal Background check.
• Knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices.
• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Strong technological skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to gain licensure in other states.
• Bilingual a strong plus.
