Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Lastwall, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement and operation of our FedRAMP-High compliant infrastructure, playing a key role in our Infrastructure and Platform Engineering efforts.

In Short

  • Ensure continuous improvement and operation of FedRAMP-High compliant infrastructure.
  • Work in an AWS GovCloud environment leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Champion modern practices in architecture, observability, and operability.
  • Guide co-workers in making optimal trade-offs for infrastructure design.
  • Enhance and maintain tooling for testing and deployments.
  • Exhibit excellent coding skills using tools like Terraform, Node.js, and Rust.
  • Strong capabilities in Incident Response and troubleshooting.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in cloud-native environments.
  • US or Dual US/Canadian citizenship required.
  • Exposure to AWS CDK, Docker, K8s, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in cloud-native environments.
  • Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, EC2, Docker, K8s, TCP/IP Networking.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, CodeCommit, CodeDeploy).
  • Experience with observability tools like CloudWatch and security scanning.
  • Knowledge of Postgres, RDS, Aurora, and Amazon OpenSearch.
  • Experience with FedRAMP/NIST-800 compliance.
  • Skills in NodeJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Bash scripting, and Rust.
  • Experience in Incident Response in critical environments.
