Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

The Director of Finance serves as both budget director and controller, ensuring proper management of Harvard Divinity School resources and financial planning through day-to-day financial management, budget and accounting oversight.

• Manage financial operations and administration, including financial reporting and compliance.
• Lead the annual budget process and multi-year financial plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience is necessary.
• MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of budget management and financial analysis.
• Understanding of university governance and decision-making.
• Experience with financial systems and data query tools.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
