As a Senior Software Engineer on our Content and Community team, you will enhance Handshake’s platform for students, job-seekers, and employers, contributing to user engagement and community building.

In Short

Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers.
Develop high-quality backend and frontend systems.
Contribute to product roadmaps and define priorities.
Drive architectural decisions for scalable systems.

Requirements

7+ years as a full-stack engineer.
Proficiency in backend technologies like Ruby on Rails, Go, Python, or Node.js.
Experience with frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience designing scalable systems.
Ability to work effectively across teams.
Experience in developing user-facing features.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Strong technical communication skills.
