AU Senior Bookkeeper - Remote

Overview

The Senior Bookkeeper is an expert and may be assigned as a dedicated resource for a customer, or as part of a team of shared resources helping deliver outcomes to service level expectations.

In Short

• Record transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts
• Process bill payment batches to be sent to the client for payment
• Process pay-runs to be sent to client for payment
• Produce various financial reports
• Reconcile reports to third-party records such as bank statements
• Prepare business activity statements and income activity statements
• Email clients to summarise the status of their bookkeeping
• Create processes based on the loom videos created by the team
• Recommend course of action and implement as approved
• Document system operating procedures and update processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with an Australian Bookkeeping firm
• Understanding of Australian GST law
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• End-to-end experience in Xero and XPM
• Must have Receipt Bank/Dext/HubDoc experience
• High level of written and verbal skills
• Ability to learn new systems and tools
• Works well and communicates well with a team
