PHP Backend Developer - Remote

Overview

Are you interested in PHP programming and Clean Code? We are looking for a PHP Backend Developer to further develop our software.

In Short

• Develop and maintain backend solutions with PHP for BlueSpice.
• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and performant systems.
• Integrate APIs and external services.
• Optimize existing backend processes and code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to create a seamless overall product.
• Conduct code reviews and support the development of best practices.
• Participate in planning and implementing new features.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge in PHP (at least 3 years of professional experience).
• Ideally, experience with MediaWiki and possibly Symfony.
• Good knowledge in developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge in working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with cloud environments and server management (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and independent working style.
• Structured, solution-oriented, and possess strong team and communication skills.
• Very conscientious, able to organize oneself well.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
