Corporate Tax Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Corporate Tax Accountant will manage all aspects of tax and VAT compliance and reporting for Mexican entities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws.

• Lead implementation and training for new VAT processes.
• Review VAT filings for ongoing compliance.
• Manage complex data sets for reporting and decision-making.
• Communicate complex tax issues clearly to management.

Requirements

• Strong finance or accounting background.
• 5+ years of experience in Indirect tax/VAT in Mexico.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with PowerBI and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Mexican corporate income tax is a plus.
• Experience in retail or Big Accounting firms preferred.
• Robust knowledge of Mexican tax regulations.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
