Overview

The Manager, System Quality Informatics oversees the hospital's efforts to align with the Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program and drive improvements in healthcare data exchange and accessibility. This role includes setting project goals, coordinating between departments, and managing timelines for each hospital’s interoperability initiatives.

In Short

  • Oversee interoperability initiatives and ensure effective data exchange.
  • Manage the Multi-Hospital Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program.
  • Lead efforts to develop and report Electronic Quality Measures.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and IT teams for EHR reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies like CMS and The Joint Commission.
  • Conduct risk assessments for interoperability initiatives.
  • Prepare reports on interoperability program status.
  • Provide training on interoperability best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal regulations regarding PI.
  • Direct activities for electronic capture of clinical data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of interoperability standards.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office expertise required.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with clinical and IT teams.
