Mortgage Loan Originator - Remote

Overview

The Mortgage Loan Originator will assist clients and provide excellent support throughout the home-buying process. The ultimate goal is to help clients realize and meet their financial goals by responsibly advising them throughout the mortgage loan process from application to closing.

In Short

• Generates new mortgage loans through various channels.
• Interviews customers and educates them on loan programs.
• Cross-sells bank products.
• Builds customer relationships and enhances the bank's image.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• 2-5 years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage finance and loan programs.
• Strong communication skills for explaining loan details.
• Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Sales skills to attract new business.
• NMLS registration required under the SAFE Act of 2008.
