Google Cloud Security Architect - Remote

Overview

The Google Cloud Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and securing our customers Google Cloud and Google Cloud SecOps infrastructure. This includes developing cloud strategies, architecting cloud solutions, and ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of a Google Cloud and Google Cloud SecOps environment.

In Short

• Architect and design Google Cloud environments with a “security first” mindset.

• Create and implement migration plans for transitioning to Google Cloud.
• Design and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.

• Work closely with development teams to support DevOps practices.
• Lead technical discussions and presentations for internal teams and customers.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in enterprise cloud architecture.
• Professional certification in Google Cloud required.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies.
• Proficient in Google services including Compute, BigQuery, Kubernetes, etc.
• Experience with cloud security and networking best practices.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve technical and operational problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead presentations and training courses.
