Advisory IR Services Consultant- Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

Overview

As an Advisory Consultant, you will be a technical resource that leverages your knowledge, skills, and experience to help deliver results to clients in various sectors.

• GuidePoint Security provides trusted cybersecurity expertise and solutions.
• Role involves development of scenarios for clients through tabletop exercises.
• Assist clients in creating operational documentation for incident response.
• Coordinate exercise planning teams with various stakeholders.
• Assess findings during exercises and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Develop information security policies and standards.
• Review and develop Security Incident Response Plans.
• Work with internal teams to identify cyber risks and design threat scenarios.
• Experience in an Information Security role is essential.
• Strong written documentation experience is required.

Requirements

• Four (4+) years of experience in an Information Security Role.
• Experience with creating and facilitating Tabletop exercises.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks including NIST CSF and ISO 27K.
• Experience in reviewing and developing Security Incident Response Plans.
• Strong written documentation experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, and Diagraming Tools.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Ability to manage projects and deliverables.
