RN Health Care Facility Surveyor - Remote

Overview

The RN Health Care Facility Surveyor will work in a technically exciting environment supporting internal and external customers nationwide, conducting surveys to assess compliance with healthcare regulations.

In Short

• 100% remote position with up to 75% travel.
• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities.
• Evaluate compliance with Federal regulations.
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparations and facility tours.
• Assess quality of care and consumers' rights.
• Communicate non-compliance issues during site reviews.
• Determine acceptability of plans of correction.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ensure implementation of corrections.
• Assist with facility and bureau training.
• Participate in work groups as needed.

Requirements

• CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification are required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in quality improvement and healthcare compliance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively.
