Concept Artist - Remote

Overview

Gravity Well is looking for a Concept Artist (Mid to Principal) with a passion for bringing new stylized worlds and characters to life, and bringing a rich sense of storytelling to everything you design.

In Short

• Create, explore, and develop concept art for environments, characters, weapons, props and vehicles
• Collaborate closely with our Art Director and designers
• Collaborate with 3D artists to achieve the vision laid out in the concept art
• Ensure that all concept related images are organized and available to the team
• Help playtest the game and provide feedback
• Consider gameplay needs and the player’s perspective in your designs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a concept artist in games or film
• Knowledge of fundamental art techniques
• High level skills at creating fictional worlds
• Experience collaborating with 3D artists
• Strong interpersonal skills
